The staff carrying bags and opening doors are excellent. The front reception (not in any dress code) seems like they dont know the answers and call for others to help, not sure why. Hotels are clean and shower is nice. It is definitely far from the main areas of ayodhya 15-25 mins. Its hard to catch a fair priced taxi in the mornings due to this. The drivers know this and will over charge. Ubers dont come often. Due to location, it always makes it difficult to return back to Hotel (have to explain location and name 3-4 times for local drivers to figure out where hotel is located.) Overall great if your trying to stay a bit out of the crowdy areas and noise. Staff is great, food is ok.

Checked into this place after picking up family. The location and reception area were good. Atul (if I remember the name right) in the reception area was very pleasant and professional. We had 2 rooms and as we went upstairs, the first impression was yikes! The carpet in the corridor is awful - the WORST ever. Rooms were very small & basic for a 4 star. Bathroom was tiny! Shower stall was super tiny & barely safe - risk of tripping and falling. Worst of all, in bathrooms, they use some blue-green disinfectant tablets that smell so strong! I constantly sneezed and by the second afternoon, got bad cold! Cleaning supplies in the corridor also smelled so strong! Hotel should look into changing the corridor into non-carpet flooring (like the 4 star in Varanasi, hotel Arcadia), and use fragrance-free cleaning supplies and disinfectants. In terms of room, bath, and corridor size and quality, the 4 star in Varanasi was ten times better! This one felt like a 3 star at max. Housekeeping staff is great though & very hard working - management needs to give them better supplies. BEST part about this hotel is the dining staff! Just fantastic people, truly great Indian hospitality, and excellent food. Though we interacted with 3 to 4 amazing staff members, I didn't catch all the names except Sunny (I think), but they were all great. We had an amazing trip to Ayodhya and eating food at this place was integral to it.

Room was clean, but not spacious, sofa does not have back support pillows, housekeeping was slow to respond. Shower not equipped with safety (grab) bar. It is not accessible to senior citizens. During lunch time 50% of furniture were undergoing paint work. Paint emitting a strong smell, causing headaches and allergic reaction. Management could have find other place to paint. Food was tasty and staff was friendly

Great clean hotel with a very hospitable hotel. The hotel is 5 kms from the Ram temple. The food was also excellent.

Ayushi greeted us warmly with a smile and a shawl, making our check-in a breeze. We booked our stay through Expedia, and the hotel is conveniently located just 15 minutes from the airport. They even got us a roll-away bed, which was a great touch. The room was clean and nicely furnished. The restaurant staff, especially NEHA and SONU, were outstanding, and the entire team was very friendly. The live dosa and gol gappa counters were amazing! Overall, it was an incredible experience.

If you want to destroy your trip to ayodhiya then you should book this hotel. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. We booked 2 rooms for my family of 5 for 2 nights. The trouble started with checking in. They didn’t find our Booking, after an hour they found a reservation of 1 room and afther another 30 minutes they finally find out the booking was for 2 rooms. They tried to put us in a horrible urine smelling room. We waited in the corridor for another 2 hours while the manager tried to fix the problem with toilet freshner spray. They mention they had sewer problems. At first it was not possible to get another room, and after the 2 hours it was possible to get a smaller room at another floor. The third bed in one of the rooms wasn’t a smooth proces also. We had a horrible night. I could not sleep. Electric is falling out every 5 minutes. Very loud traffic sounds from outside at night. No rest for me at all. We booked for 2 night, but we checked out after 1 horrible night. Even checking out was a problem, we waited again 2 hours to get away from the hotel the next morning. They waisted a lot of my time and spare days off which I couldn’t enjoy because the low quality of this hotel.This hotel is not even a three star worth. The staff is not professional at all. They waisted a lot of my time. If you used to stay in hostels and campings this hotel would be good for you. But otherwise don’t make the mistake I went through. At the end the manager asked to remove my review.

The room was extremely smelly and small then expected, don't know exist were throwing out the foul aur or pulling in. In room dining experience was great as food was good, but restaurant dining experience was poor due less staff members and slow service.

5/5: Excellent Stay—Modern Comfort and Exceptional Service ​Ira by Orchid in Ayodhya is an excellent, well-maintained, and modern hotel. It delivered a top-tier experience. ​Accommodation & Ambiance ​The hotel feels fresh and contemporary. My room was comfortable and clean, though a little compact. Amenities were functional. We noted some non-disruptive construction noise next door. The location, slightly outside the main city hustle, offers a peaceful retreat. ​Exceptional Service ​The service earned the 5-star rating. Staff are professional and highly attentive. A standout moment: when we struggled to get a taxi to Suryakund for the laser show, the staff immediately organized a reliable e-riksha for us. The driver stayed with us and dropped us back safely for a nominal charge. This personalized, problem-solving service was deeply appreciated. ​Furthermore, the manager personally greeted us and gifted each of us a lovely orange scarf with the image of Ram—a thoughtful, spiritual gesture. ​Dining Experience ​The food was very nice. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering wide variety. Waiters were consistently helpful and prompt. ​Final Verdict ​I highly recommend Ira by Orchid. It is an excellent choice for travelers prioritizing modern facilities, comfort, and truly exceptional guest service. I have no significant areas for improvement.

Very Helpful staff. Airport pickup and drop off. We stayed for one night to tour Ayodhya. We didn't have any tours planned, but after speaking to the staff, we were advised that a rickshaw to Ram Temple was the best option and they called us a rickshaw. This wasn't any extra service that we had to pay for. We agreed on our tour price directly with the rickshaw. Very good experience.

Courteous and very helpful staff at front desk, housekeeping as well as restaurant. Variety in breakfast and dinner menu daily. In close proximity from airport and mandir. Overall a good hotel and I would consider selecting for my next stay in the future.

Great Stay Let Down by Frequent Power Outages

The rooms were clean & the service by staff was respectful, courteous, & hospitable. Breakfast & Dinner options were good & delicious. It was a shame that during my stay there were numerous power outages.

Hotel room and property are clean and in good condition. Amenities are good. Lot of new constructions around the property. Ram mandir is about 4 KM from the hotel. At this time, there are no nearby restaurants in walkable distance. Food in hotel restaurant is ok.
