“It was my first business trip to Dakar. I had problems in communicating with people working in Casa Mara because most of them understand French only. If you encounter problems, ask lady manager for help because she is the only person who can speak English fluently and has open-minded. The location is near the police academy, most of the cab driver had hard time in finding the hotel.”

“I stayed at 3 different hotels in Dakar, including 4 nights at Villa Renaissance, and this hotel was easily the best value, and the cleanest. I had the smallest (and cheapest) room in the hotel, and by the standards of Dakar, I think it's a great deal. Friendly service, etc. Highly recommended.”
