“A unique experience staying in this ancient chateau. Made to feel welcome from the moment I arrived. A comfortable , clean & spacious bedroom with large bed and warm & cosy bedding. A secret library in one of the towers and appropriate furniture. Modern shower room with instant hot water.
Lounge with log fire, coffee & tea making facilities. Simple but very adequate breakfast.
It is so good to see heritage being re-purposed rather than over modernised.”

“I did not like that parking arrangements. You have to park the car up the road at one of the other hotels the inconvenience with luggage and stuff the rooftop Restaurant et cetera was closed and I think some of the staff doing the breakfast were not really up to hygiene one member of staff handed me us a spoon holding the end. I’ll put in my mouth so I had to wash it, I didn’t really think the hotel come up to the standard of previous ibis hotels we have stayed in.”
