Only complaint was with the air conditioning which we did not have on, but it still made a noise in the early hours which woke me up. Only other minor issue was the inability on Thursday evening to get a meal in the Martello Bar which was crowded with men attending a function."

"The room was clean and reasonably decorated. The staff were welcoming and polite. The breakfast was good. There is no evening restaurant but this is not a problem as there are a large number of restaurants a short walk away. The hotel is well situated for all the towns attractions but benefits for being just off the High Street (which can be very busy). Would definitely recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to use again."

"Our stay was very nice and the hotel was very good, abit pricey for the one night stay, I guess this is because of the central location, very close to everything in the heart of Canterbury, our only complaint really was the air conditioning was not very good and didn’t cool us down very well, would advise guests to get seated for breakfast early as we made the mistake of having this at 9am and the breakfast area was packed. Overall a really good stay and would go back again."
