“Good value for the price. Great location to New River Gorge NP. Close to historic downtown Fayetteville. ”

“We had a great experience with Dawson Inn. The room was exceptionally clean and smelled fresh. The Manager, Lisa, was very friendly. There is a gas station and small store next to the hotel where we purchased made-to-order sandwiches and water on our way to the New River Gorge National Park. The hotel is 15 min away from the Sandstone Falls Visitor's Center. The price is right and a gem for those visiting the area or just passing through.”

“Once upon a time I am sure this place was really nice. We stayed for a golf event, otherwise I would not stay here. We stayed in the executive suite area. The room was outdated and the pullout couch was very worn, torn, broken and uncomfortable. Our smoke alarm battery was old, so it was beeping. The buildings in general could use some upkeep. The room was very overpriced. ”

“Clean and quiet easy in and out”

“This motel should not be offered. It was the worse I’d ever seen. I went into our room, the worse looking bathroom I had ever seen, one lone light bulb hanging from ceiling over bed- pulled cover back to check on bed bugs & did not appear to have sheets. There were no towels in bathroom. No mini fridge or microwave (which I would have done with out). I returned the key and said I can’t stay here. It was dirty. Sharon Kouts”

“We've overnighted here before while traveling, and likely will again. We don't use the pool, or workout area, however those were available 24-7 and the Continental breakfast was typical for Continental. It is pet friendly, although we don't have a dog.Our only issue was the person in the room next to us did have a dog that barked. That was NOT appreciated at 5:00 a.m. Our room (101) had a cracked wall mirror behind the bed, and several unrepaired screw holes in the wall in the bathroom, however...

“the facility was old and out dated, there was supposed to have breakfast for us and they did not, during the night is was noise in the room and a light outside the room kept the room lite during the night. bed was uncomfortable ”

“They claimed to have a restaurant when i booked the room.This is why i picked them because all the other hotels had breakfast included which have low grade food.I thought the breakfast should be better.It was not.The food at breakfast was low quality,very disappointing,,had trouble eating it ,I expected better than paying for such poor quality food.For this reason I would never stay there again or recommmend it to anyone.I felt misled and cheated.The room and hotel however was a good experience...

“The bed was nothing but springs. My daughter and I both woke up with our bodies sore. The shower curtain wouldn’t stay up by the shower head so the bathroom floor was flooded when I got out. I used all the towels to dry that up and asked the blonde lady at the front desk if we could have towels. She said she would have them bring me some… my daughter and I were out all day came back to the same wet towels. Was suppose to stay all weekend but left Saturday evening once we got back.”

“Clean quiet location. Could use some upgrades to towels and washroom linens. Breakfast is very limited”

“If you're looking for somewhere to sleep for the night and aren't too picky this is actually a five-star just on basics it was clean it was safe it was comfortable but if you're picky you need to go to one of the more high-end hotels but the price is right so you get what you pay for and I feel that I got a great deal for what I paid all I needed to do was sleep parking was good it was safe everything that you need is within 5 minutes drive or walking distance so this is like my probably ninth...

“Dump”

“Easy to find off the interstate, next to many food areas to fit every ones food tastes. Staff was very helpful and the rooms were clean. Will be heading back to that area soon and definitely stay at this establishment. ”
