The Heimly staff was friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make sure we had a pleasant stay. Our room had gorgeous views of the fjords. Breakfast was excellent, and the three-course vegetarian dinner that the chef prepared for us was the best meal we had on our trip to the Scandinavian ...

We were upgraded to one of the apartments which was great as much bigger than we had booked however sofa bed wasn’t made up, we were missing towels and tv didn’t work. There is a lot of work going on around the village currently with the pub renovations and pier renovations.

Definitely worth spending an extra day in this sweet, little town in the Fjord.
Lovely small town!!
Very unique little town
We thought Flam got a bum rap in all three of the guide books we had. The number one worst thing about it is the cruise ships and the resulting hordes, but we thought it was a wonderful little town that had everything we needed.
Very beautiful location. Would love to go back and stay longer than one night.
