"The hotel and the location are amazing, walking distance to everything. Great views of the mountains and the whole town. Only problem we had was getting a place to have breakfast, the hotel recommends Hotel Aldan but we showed up at 8 in the morning and they did not have breakfast available (there was a group that was having breakfast) but they told us that they didn't have for the 2 of us. Only coffee was available?! Other than that a great stay, but be aware of maybe packing your own food in...

"When I booked this property for 2 nights I thought we would have the entire house to ourselves. At other guest houses we have stayed at in Iceland, this was the case. Instead, what I booked was a room with 4 beds that had common areas available to all guests. There were 9 guests total each night with 1 bathroom. Kitchen could use a thorough cleaning; freezer drawers we totally unusable as they were iced shut (needed to be defrosted and cleaned.) Property setting is 15 minutes from town with...

"Super cute cedar cabins. Well laid out with little kitchenette. The bathroom is nice as well. Love how the house was integrated into the surrounds of the trees and the farmland around the area with a little stream in back of the cabin. The supermarket is about 20 minute drive back into town and nice areas to explore too Loved every moment and would recommend others to come and experience e the friendly hospitality of the host and the horses 🐎 👍"

"One of the best places we stayed at during our two weeks in Iceland. A true oasis away from the hustle and bustle of life. The private cabin we stayed in was huge with outdoor seating, a porch, an outdoor grill, and beautiful views of the country side. The family that runs the property also owns the farm the property is on and the on-site restaurant. All the ingredients are local (if not grown on their own farm) and the food was delicious with large portions. We wish we could have stayed longer...
