Live like a Florentine at Piazza della Signoria 2!

This is a special property. The balcony is literally right above the Piazza della Signoria and looks directly at the David reproduction and the Palazzo Vecchio. The second floor property is above a pizzeria restaurant, and is on the square so there is some noise at night, but I was able to get to sleep even with the windows open. The windows so seal tightly and block the noise. The check-in process (at the Hotel Brunelleschi) was very easy, and a bellman then walked us over (4 minutes) and took up our luggage. At the check-in, I requested a taxi the morning of our departure and inquired about the check-out process. They said they would take care of the taxi, and did - and the bellman was there again (at 6:30 am) to take the keys and thus we did not have to go to the hotel for check-out - very convenient. This is a two bedroom, two bath apartment, so quite nice for a travelling family. There is also a small functioning kitchen. The building is old, but very nicely updated - especially the beautiful tile in the bathrooms.

Fel adress på rummet från Hotel.com

För det första så har Hotel.com fel adress till rummet. Dessutom så checkar man in på ett annat hotell för att få nycklarna. Så det blev lite snurrig innan vi kom fram till rummet. Väl framme på rummet så blev det en positiv överraskning. Att det skulle vara så fint som det var kunde jag inte tro.

Fab location shame about the noise

Wonderful apartment in amazing location. Staff at check in hotel (a short walk away) are very helpful and friendly. Apartment is located on the same Piazza as the Uffizi Gallery and only a short walk from the Ponte Vecchio and Duomo so location can't be beaten. Unfortunately the noise of drunken people from the street below carried up to the apartment (we were on the third floor) and kept us awake until about 3am both nights we were there. The earplugs supplied by the hotel on everyone's bedside table should have been a warning of what was to be expected but even these didn't stop the noise. A big shame as everything else was fab.

Beautiful apartment on Palazzo Vecchio

Beautifully adorned apartment with elevator on popular square. Staffed by Hotel Brunelleschi who were wonderfully helpful just like you where staying in the hotel property. Very close to all the sights in Florence

Si bien el apartamento es muy comodo y bien decorado, se transforma en un trastorno hacer el checking. Hay que ir a la recepcion de un hotel al que solo tienes para comunicarte un telefono en el que la atencion es mala. deberían mandar con la reserva la direccion donde hacer el Check In. Luego hay que ir hasta el departamento a 4 o 5 cuadras. Dependiendo la hora de arribo, repito, un trastorno. La gente de Hoteles se desentiende del tema, no hay forma de comunicarse con Uds.

Beautiful Apartment in Downtown Florence

Great apartment - large and clean! Great service from hotel - very responsive, friendly and courteous! Enjoyed our stay very much- minor hiccups in the beginning resolved quickly and professionally by hotel staff. Overall our stay was lovely and apartment very convenient to local attractions in Florence.

Florence in 5 Minutes-Brooklyn, New York

My sister-in-law, husband and I travelled to Florence to visit my niece who was studying at Marist Italy.We had an amazing stay at the Blue Angel loft for 8 nights.The apartment was very clean and had updated appliances including a stove, dishwasher, washer and dryer, cookware and a wine cooler which was great for our extended stay in Florence.The apartment was large enough to comfortably accommodate 2 couples with a private bedroom and a queen sofabed that was very comfortable. It is also good for a family of 5, since there is a twin bed in a loft that is semi private.The main issues with the apartment was that Hotels.com does not send any information that the check-in office is at the Bruncelleschi Hotel that is located 5 blocks away. The Bruncelleschi provided cleaning service twice during our stay.There was also a lot of mosquitos b/c the windows do not have screens, so we had to keep the windows closed, which was a disappointment since open windows provide the sounds of Florence that add to the experience of living in an apartment. There was parking around the block which was cheaper than parking available thru hotel. I would definitely stay at the Blue Angel Loft on my next visit to Florence and recommended it for anyone who is looking for an alternative to a hotel.

The perfect place to be in Florence!

The check in was a little complicated because we arrive to the apartment but we had to go to the Bruneleschi hotel for the check in, but once we enter to that beautiful place we were all surprise, our kids (4, 6 and 8) said that it looks like a Mansion. The location and amenities were perfect!

Fantastic find in Florence

Very close to the centre of Florence. Apartment was clean and well maintained. Easy to find - once arrived phoned the contact number and a manager and porter from the managing hotel was sent to greet us. The small bedroom in the mezzanine not appropriate for small children due to the spiral staircase - not functional for sleepy night toilet trips but the queen sofa and main bedroom adequately met our needs for 2 adults and 2 children. Air conditioning worked well and apartment had clothes washer and dryer. Late checkout fantastic - anytime we were ready to go!!!!! - we left after midday at no extra cost. Readily recommend.

We loved the space, location and balcony views.

Apartment was beautiful with magnificent views from both balconies. Big bathrooms with big showers and deep tubs. The piazza was a bit noisy 1 night [we stayed 6] until about 1 AM, but the local police helped send the drunks away. Within walking distance of everything - so many museums, restaurants, shopping. It is an easy walk to Central Market where the restaurants/bars were more reasonably priced.

The apartment was very clean and bedding was nice. We like the modern feel. It would have been nice to have a coffee maker of some sort and coffee in the room. Bathroom was clean and modern but shower drain was clogged.

Fantastiskt läge direkt vid Piazza della Signoria. Våran lägenhet låg mot bakgården som dock avger en del matos från restaurangerna samt en del ljud. Bra standard, dock begränsade köksmöjligheter, trångt kök, avsaknad av fläkt och begränsad uppsättning av porslin mm. Vi valde att äta ute istället.

Tolles Appartment in bester zentraler Lage

Anfahrt per Auto unbedingt vorher an der Rezeption des Hotels Brunnelleschi erfragen, dort findet auch der check-in statt! Auto wird dann durch Hotel in Garage gebracht, wir haben für die Zeit von Die- Nachmittag bis Donnerstag Nachmittag für den Garagenservice insgesam 72€ bezahlt. Klappte problemlos, trotz grossem VW Multivan :-)
