Room and breakfast was basic but fine, as a solo traveller and tall person I wouldn’t recommend the single room, the bed is a very slim single and my feet were hanging over the end. Also word of warning, they don’t tell you when you check in that the tourist tax you pay on checkout must be cash… luckily I had some but not so helpful… the roof terrace and bar is probably its biggest asset. Was pleasant sitting up there watching the sun set with a view of the cathedral. Close to station and easy walk to see all Florence has to offer. I would stay again but get a double room.

Perfect location, easy to walk every where and close to the train so you don’t have the drag your bags all over the city. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Good breakfast. The roof top patio was delightful. Great for quiet mornings and an after dinner drink. Only draw back in our room was the shower. Pressure was good but when it got hot it would start to smell a bit. After looking it up we assume it was from either older pipes or the hot water tank. Aside from that, it was fantastic.

Great price. Great location. Son’s room only had a single sized bed. A bit small for his frame. Thought I’d booked two double bed rooms. Wifi in my room in the new wing non-existent. My room had a comfy double bed. Both rooms were cozy, clean, basic, quiet. Included breakfast was delicious.

This hotel was perfect for our 3 days in Florence. Great AC, very comfortable bed, great breakfast to help us get an early start to our days, and a beautiful rooftop bar for the ideal post-adventure nightcap. We will absolutely be back and recommending Hotel Cantoria to friends and family.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, and rooftop patio was huge bonus. Breakfast was very nice as well. I feel badly for forgetting her name, but the bartender on the patio was great. We appreciated the mini fridge in the rooms as well. Overall, our stay was a good value with a convenient location, I would stay again.

Very noisy aircon preventing the possibility of sleep when it was on. The fridge didn’t work and there was no sink plug. Some of the reception staff were very rude. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was good but these didn’t compensate for its failings.
