"I stayed at the Sunrise for a week and have no idea how it was given 3.7 stars. The price of the stay was WONDERFUL for my budget! The location was PERFECT, be it right next to the sea. Manolia the customer service representative was above & beyond helpful. The best part of my stay was the 8€ breakfast! They did a WONDERFUL job with it and helped me stay below budget for my food costs. The room was clean & smelling good. There only one negative thing... and it comes from the customer expecring a Ritz Carlton experience in the farming portion of Crete. Well Worth It. Pay the 8€ for the breakfast and it'll save you 30€ from eating out."

"Staff was great we enjoyed the food I think the main draw back was it’s a very popular spot on hot days and there isn’t designated parking for people staying at the resort, so sometimes when we would come back it was really hard to find a parking spot"

"We stayed at the sea view appartments for one night. The appartment is nicely furnished, has spatious terrace, comfortable bed and fully equpied kitchen. There are restaurants, caffes and grocery stores nearby. There was plenty of parking space. We could not make it before reception closed, at 4PM but we were supported and we arranged other check in option. Keep in mind to contact reception ahead of your arrival if you cannot make it :) Our appartment was ground floor so sea view was a little obstructed by other buildings - it was fine for us. There were other appartments on higher floors which most likely had better views. We recommend this accomodation for nice stay in quieter part of the city."

"Amazing Stay – We Will Definitely Return! We had a wonderful time at Plakias Resort! The location is stunning, the atmosphere peaceful, and the staff very kind and helpful. Our room was clean, spacious, and perfect for a relaxing holiday. The pool area was lovely and the beach just a short walk away. The only thing we missed was some evening entertainment – we couldn’t find an entertainment team or any organized activities during our stay. Also, while the food was decent, there is room for improvement in variety and taste. Still, overall, we truly enjoyed our stay and are already looking forward to coming back!"
