“Room was clean, staff especially Sarah were very helpful. Full English breakfast available each morning. Downside was location right next to a busy road, parking is available but limited. Also the inn is in the process of being sold, so may not be available in the near future.”

“Had a fantastic night's sleep! The owners were great & cooked a lively breakfast.”

“Absolutely filthy room. Stains on sides, dirty bathroom, mould on the curtains. Cannot in any way recommend.”

“Very good stay in clean comfortable property. Jim tge owner can't do enough to make your stay excellent.”

“Overall we had a great stay at the Ship Inn . Staff were lovely especially the male member of staff who served us in the restaurant with drinks and food . He went over and above to please had a wonderful friendly personality . A great asset to the team . Sorry we didn’t get your name . The down sides were the mattress in the Royal room needs replacing and we were kept awake until 1am by either an argument going on or very loud animated talking ! The absolute positive of our visit was the food...

“It was a very comfortable room lovely and clean and nice decor”

“Wonderful stay, only one night but definitely will make the effort to come back. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, all were cheerful and welcoming. The food was amazing. Lovely village location. Thank you for a lovely overnight stay.”

“The pub was lovely, the food was good and the staff were very helpful. The only problem was that the room had been very liberally sprayed with Fabreeze, including the bed linens, which sadly caused me to have an asthma attack and meant I had to cut short my stay.”

“Hotel was nice and comfortable overall. Breakfast was great! Only hiccup was that hotel rebooked us in a different room than I had booked without telling us, new room didn't have bed set up that we wanted.”
