Secure safe parking and very welcoming staff. The jacuzzi in our room worked perfectly. Less than a mile walk into the heart of Parma. Train station two easy streets away. Will definitely return.

First, this is a very different cost-effective hotel experience. There is no 'front desk', and no staff save for a couple of cleaning folks you may or may not see. You enter the main front door using a code on a keypad, and you don't have a room key - you get a numeric combination for the combo lock on your door. Palazzo Della Rosa Prati is a charming, centuries old building located in the heart of the historic center of Parma. We had a two bedroom deluxe suite which was actually an apartment with a full kitchen and washing machine. The building is old, but the interior is modern, clean and comfortable. The staff are amazing. They helped us with dinner reservations and even arranged a cooking class for us. I highly recommend this hotel.
