The Motel 6 in Fort Collins, Colorado, was the worst place we have ever stayed. I have pictures if you’d like to see them. Absolutely filthy. Paint peeling, very loose electrical plugs, to the point of being a fire hazard. Urine all over the toilet, bathroom sink hadn’t been cleaned, either. Light fixture with no shade and a burnt out bulb, places where people had left their dogs in the room and the dog chewed at the door jamb in the bathroom. The shower was a joke. Almost no water pressure, and a horrible noise when you turned the faucet to the hot side. I recorded it if you’d like to hear it.
The bedside table was crusty. We wiped it off with a face wipe. Toilet was running, holes, like cigarette burns in the bed linens.
A pile of dirty towels heaped on an air conditioning unit outside the room next to ours, filthy towels on the ground outside a room two doors down from ours.
Extremely tiny soap, comparable in size to a 50 cent piece, for two people. Drywall peeling, one tiny waste basket, filthy vents up on and near the ceiling which were coming loose, a hole punched in the back of the bathroom door, scrapes on walls,
Very noisy, a woman and man were standing directly outside our door smoking all night long. All kinds of door banging, knocking, yelling at all hours.
We checked in at around 8:00 pm. Put our stuff in the room and left immediately to find food. When we got back, I called the front desk to report what we had found. He said, I checked you in an hour
