“Homestay was very centrally located. Can easily walk to most places, or take a short tuktuk ride. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. They booked our Kathakali show and told us about the sights and the ceremony that was going on at the time. Everywhere was very clean. Could have done with another pillow. But Im sure if I'd asked, they would have given me one!”

Dinners in the History restaurant were without exception delicious, especially the First Class Railway Mutton Curry which was outstanding. These were preceded by a visit to the bar, over which knowledgeable barmen preside. All in all, a wonderful stay and the next door ferry was never a problem for us, indeed we think we will miss the throbbing motor which we found quite comforting. ”

“I loved the feel at home atmosphere, and the owner’s presence and their continued assistance. What I did not like at all was the kitchen area being too cluttered, dirty and dirty wet rags on the floor..Also the table was wiped with a dirty rag that did not clean the table. ”
