Amazing hotel, staff was so friendly, and went above and beyond to please guests. Our room was clean and spacious, the grounds are beautiful. They had all kinds of activities and treats like pizza and donuts for special events.

Everything about our state was perfect. The staff was phenomenal, the room was very large and accommodating. We love the view over the lake in the back and short access to the beach. The pool and hot tub were easily accessible and perfect.

The room was extremely clean and well appointed. We had some issues with two burners on the stove not working, the safe needing a new battery and the television having a volume problem. I reported the problems late Friday afternoon and within 2 hours everything was repaired and/or replaced. The pool and jacuzzi areas were immaculate and very enjoyable. We hope to stay at Canada House again in the future. It will be our first choice.

Perfect little studio suite with all the amenities. Much better than a large hotel to men and only seconds from walking on the sand and being in the water at the beach. Room was clean, staff was extremely friendly and every kitchen appliance you could think of

On the beach and quiet

We own a week here in June, but decided to come down for our Anniversary in September. We love that this place is on the beach and never busy at all.

I am not sure how this hotel gets 9+ rating on expedia, but it's no where near that level. The room we stayed at was across the street from the beach, not beach front, building 2 - which is no where in the ad. The building is old with cracks in the drywall, bathroom looked like it hadn't been remodeled since 1970s and is falling apart. Mattresses are terrilbe. Check-in was quick and staff was friendly, the only positives I can think of.

I got a cheap room across the street. It had a pull down bed. It also had a small kitchen with a dishwasher. So it would be great for a small family or a single person. You can cook your own food if your on budget. It also had a bed in the couch.

There are not enough superlatives to cover all the wonderful aspects of Canada House, each and every member of the family was putting an obvious effort to make everyone feel welcome. I will place my focus on the fact that they welcome everyone home when they arrive and they certainly live up to their welcome. Jeffrey checked me in and I watched him help each arriving or current guest with such warmth and care I couldn’t help but think that the Canada House really was living up to the welcome homes that they were offering. I required assistance from Jeffrey a few times on our stay and he greeted me on the phone by name in such a way that I could hear his smile through the phone. He was completely and graciously willing to help me with each question that I had. We work often in the area and have family in the area, as well, we can’t wait for the next reason to find ourselves home again at Canada House. Thank you for a short but wonderful stay for our family.
