The black lady made my stay horrible. All other staff was helpful but her. I checked out because of comments to me. She constantly complained how she wanted people to leave the hotel. I will never stay at that location ever again. Very poor customer service

Funky smell in the halls, our room had a hand print on the wall about 6 ft up and what looked like blood splatter on the ceiling. Beds were extremely mushy. Lobby bathroom was disgusting, breakfast would have been ok, but the other guests made sure to take everything that was not nailed down and was not replenished. I would say you get what you pay for, however in this case you get even less.

Smoke and dope smell everywhere even though it's supposed to be non smoking hotel. No nonsmoking signs to remind guests. Dirty doors and carpets. People conducting questionable shoe business out of rooms and using hallway making noise into night. Not sure if sheets were fresh. Unusable pool and area. Good location to gas stations and amusement park though. Nice staff.

For the price, it's a good place to stay for the night. The only downside was someone previously smoked in the bathroom which left the smell in the room. Would've liked for the breakfast to include some time type of meat option.

We had no issues during our stay. Staff was friendly at check in and check out, room was clean and stocked with essentials. Hotel was quiet… no slamming doors or loud guests during the night.

My husband and I had to make a last minute booking and we were very please with the hotel we chosen. Plus it was close to a restaurant where we could walk and have breakfast.

This has to be the dirtiest hotel I have ever staying. The furniture and building was fine, but the filthy rooms were so gross we just wanted it to be the next day to check out and leave. We felt like we could get some infection of bed bugs or something it was so gross!

Don’t think the room was cleaned sufficiently. Found some pennies in the floor so the room was probably not vacuumed and found a pen head in the bed so the sheets were probably not changed

Convenient location however quite a lot of surrounding street noise, etc. The area doesn’t feel very safe and only a couple of the staff members were friendly. Would not return based on the amount of nearby hotel options in the same price range.

No frills good experience
I stayed here for 3 nights when visiting a friend in the Charlotte area. I pretty much knew what I was getting into, and adjusted my expectations. All of the staff were very friendly, especially the person overnight! The building itself needs a facelift, it's pretty worn. The room was clean but smelled like heavy perfume the entire time. Breakfast was underwhelming, and I didn't use the gym. The pool was closed as well but it was very cold anyway. This is a no frills hotel but it wasn't too bad of an experience. I really wanted quiet and clean and it pretty much checked the boxes.

Sink was clogged. Room was not cold AC was working but off when checked in. Room was on 2nd floor. Receptionist was helpful after complaints he showed me the other eoom on 2nd floor . Which has smell of smoke . I denied tban he gave us room on 4th floor which was OK

Rooms need a little work, but overall clean. There during bowl season and the only ESPN chanel was in Spanish. Breakfast needs a little work. Will be going back to Comfort Inn across the street.
