“We have visited and stayed at the Jamaica Inn a number of times over the years but unfortunately this time we were left a bit disappointed. Not with the place or most of the staff themselves but with the entitlement of other visitors and patrons who bring their dogs into the establishment. Nearly all the dog owners were either having their dogs sitting where people need to walk, on long leads so they can roam or not on leads at all so they can roam anywhere. “The hotel is in the perfect spot, right in the harbour. The room was massive and well equipped with a lovely view. The building is obviously extremely old which has its limitations on decor etc but we had an amazing time there. Would recommend.”

“An excellent two night stay at a location we hadn't visited for some years. Our dog-friendly room was really clean . Evening meals were good. Breakfast was not included though we think it is provided at other times of the year. There was however a very good cafe and shop next door that served breakfast, coffee and snacks. We will be back to both establishments in the next few months”
