We had a very comfortable quiet stay . Nice to stay in a heritage building, walkable to Truro city centre. Helpful, friendly staff. I appreciated having my "gift" changed from a fizzy bottle to a house wine bottle.

Stayed at The Alverton and was impressed by the friendliness from the staff, grandure of the buildings and overall service. I found the quality of furniture in the room let it down slightly. The breakfast was variable.

Lovely property in a great location with fantastic history. The welcome and attention by the staff was excellent. However, the suite we had was pleasant enough but was, in our opinion, rather poorly furnished and set out. It didn't spoil our stay but it could have been more comfortable.

Quick break

We have enjoyed our stay v. much. Fortunately, we were able to walk up the steep stairs to our room, but this could be difficult for others less able. A sash on one of the windows was broken, so I did mention it. The food and service was excellent in the lovely restaurant. Staff very friendly and efficient. Thank you for such a delightful stay.
