"This was our third stay at The Sandom and again it never disappoints! A great, intimate, boutique hotel in an excellent location. Very friendly staff, a great buffet breakfast and all the amenities neccesary for a comfortable stay. It's only a very short stroll to the the harbour where you can enjoy the restaurants, cafes and shops. Would definitely recommend The Sandom hotel to friends and we are very much looking forward to our next visit."

"Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was great. I am not sure but there may have been a plumbing problem because of the smell as you enter the reception. The rest of the hotel was fine. "

"Nice ambience in lobby and room. We stayed two nights but housekeeping never came which was bizarre. Also, complimentary coffee ran out one day and no staff on site…. When staff was present they were courteous. Hotel is one block away from a small beach. Maybe 10 or 15 minute walk to both the ferry and bus terminal all on level ground. Satisfied, but for the cost of hotel in off season surprised no housekeeping done. "

"My husband & I stayed here for 2 nights but we were really disappointed & would not recommend this hotel. Our apartment was dated & was more like a hostel than a hotel. Breakfast was very poor & there was a lot of cats all round the breakfast area, pool area & you could not open the window in our accommodation as a cat tried to get in. The price we payed for our accommodation was certainly not worth it as it really was only a 2star rating. The pool looked ok but there was cats sitting on the sunbeds etc . I really didn’t enjoy staying here & if it had have been staying more than the 2 nights we were I would have left & booked in to a better accommodation. "

"Super service especially in extending our stay when our ferry was cancelled due to bad weather. Short work to many restaurants and shops. Only issue was some minor signs of mold in the bathroom."
