“On our arrival after six hours travelling in a heatwave we were informed that the air conditioning wasn't working. From the sign on the door it was obviously not a recent problem. We feel we should have been told prior to our arrival when we would have had chance to book alternative accommodation. As it was we had no choice but to accept. The fan in one of the rooms was broken and could not be angled. We were told there were no spares, neither was there anywhere to get cold water. My grandson...
“Loved it here, the setup, staff and general vibe of the place is faultless. We were there during the World Cup and didn't realise that thd communal area doubles up as a fanzone with giant screen for matches, which was awesome. I've only knocked it down to 4/5 because the floor in our room was pretty dirty and the lack of air conditioning won't be for everyone. Overall however, I doubt you'll find a better hostel experience anywhere.”
