“Beautifully situated hotel with panoramic views and very kind and helpful staff. A 15 minute walk from a picturesque secluded beach. The two nearest villages are 30-50 minutes away by foot, so having a car would be recommended. Or be prepared to use ride sharing services to get around.”

“We loved the room, the balcony, hosts and breakfast but wished there was an AC, or a fan or screens on patio door so that the nights weren't warm.”

“Our host Elisabeth was wonderful. Nothing was too much. Friendly and spoke any great English thankfully which made our stay very positive. The room was great and so was the bathroom and toilet. The bedroom over overlooked the alps. Breakfast was tasty and fresh. The meal that was prepared on arrival (precooked) was delicious prepared and cooked with her own fair hand. “This family owned hotel is in the heart of Cauterets. The hotel is older and is evident when you walk the stairs and hallways where you can feel the slant in the floors. The room was very large and clean, with older french style furniture and curtains. The bathroom is very modern and had a large soaking tub. Like many French bathrooms, the toilet was in a separate “closet” outside the main bathroom, and although this is a bit odd at least this one had a hand sink inside. The breakfast was...
