"We stayed years ago prior to renovation. Beautiful hotel, wonderful attention to detail preserving the old while totally updating. Staff was so accommodating that if asked a question they would provide not only directions but hours, etc. Best breakfast ever, eggs, sausages, various bread & rolls, sweets, cheeses, even English, and vegan offerings. Table service upscale with waiters for every whim. Room maintained spotless with complimentary bottles of water replaced everyday. Lovely bar area with roaring fire going and soft music in the background, available for both food & drinks."

"The room was charming with a little dormer window that looks out over the city. My room was so clean especially the bathroom with plenty of counter space and lighted mirror. The staff was so helpful and the location can’t be beat. Would definitely stay there again. "

"Everything was great about our stay at the hotel. The highlight was the breakfast before departing as Nataliia Brotsmann took good care of us. We had a nice talk in different languages and therefore enjoyed the breakfast even more and will return to the Sofitel, when we are back to Munich."
