The rooms and property were very clean and the staff was very friendly. The restaurant and especially the seats with the garden view were absolutely stunning. The beds were nice and firm and very clean. The only down fall was the location. Though it was a quick drive into the main area of Galway, it was not a walkable distance.

This is a truly beautiful hotel. Hence this is why I star here 3/4 times per year . Lovely staff . Spotless room and great amenities. The only negative is that there is no fridge in the room and the mattress on bed is quite hard .

The hotel is beautiful and staff so so friendly. Dinner was a touch disappointing, a few of us didnt find it great but possibly just down to a matter of taste. Breakfast was brilliant with a lovely selection. I would return again ❤️

This was one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed at. Everything was good. Only minor gripe is a tiny elevator for people staying. Since it’s only 2 levels up, it’s no issue. Staff, service, food, and ambiance were A+

Room were really clean,staff very good,breakfast very good. Parking ok. Only we have complain for toilet and we can't use cold water on sink( washed teeth on bath). The hotel staff were friendly and sincere. The hotel itself is wonderful, we spent a couple of nights and it’s very convenient especially if you have a car to drive around. Rooms are big and clean. We had a wonderful stay at the hotel!

The Clybaun Hotel is centrally located to enjoy the different neighborhoods of Galway. Great central spot for taking side trips. The room was large, beds were comfortable, and everything from the bathroom to the floors were very clean. Bring your swimsuit and workout clothes as they have a super nice pool and gym on the underground parking floor. They do support the local swim team, but you are well notified of the times they are there and it is easy to work around. They have a delicious breakfast that everyone will enjoy. This hotel also has a restaurant called the Courtyard that you should make a reservation before arriving - check photos to decide if you want in the enclosed courtyard or inside. The restaurant staff was thoughtful, knew the menu, and so good. We were able to make a reservation when we arrived at 6pm for 8:15pm, so it is worth asking. The staff throughout the hotel were professional and went that extra step to ensure our trip was going well. Easy check in and check out. HINT: 1) For Americans driving there - The Clybaun Hotel sign is as visible as the Courtyard sign. My husband and I thought there were two hotels next to each other meaning two parking areas. Nope, that is the Courtyard Restaurant. 2) You can self-park in the open-air parking lot around if the hotel and they have a below ground parking lot for free. For a new driver on the other side of the road, it can be tricky, but nice to have. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

The hotel was very nice and clean, but we booked for the pool and it is not a hotel pool - it is an affiliated health club pool - and the staff were extremely rude to the kids. There is nowhere to sit. This is not a hotel to book hoping for a fun family time between tours.
