"I love the Sylvia Hotel! I first visited in 1952 (Dined in the Sky!!) first stay in 1965 and many many times since There is nothing I can honestly think of that I would change The atmosphere. the location, the staff. the food and drink. rooms. old school elevators all that and more! In a perfect world I would spend every late afternoon in the lower lounge by the wind sitting with my wife watching the world go by with a glass of red wine in my hand. Thanks for the memories!! the"

"We stayed in a standard room with two double beds, which overall was very nice. Small issue was that we found the bathroom lights were not very bright and oddly no extractor fan in it which meant the mirror took ages to clear. I found the toilet very low too. The beds were comfy and there were nice touches with the white tea products. We were about 4 rooms in from elevator, but seemed to be able to hear it. But it didn't go all night which is fine. Nice to have a fridge in room and good hair dryer. We paid for breakfast and that was amazing, we were spoilt for choice. We used the indoor and outdoor pool which were both great. Towels provided at both. The outdoor pool had warmed towels which was lovely. The hot tub at the indoor pool was very nice and we were very lucky to have it too ourself for about an hour. We didnt use the gym but it looked well equipped. The hotel has many water refill stations. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Only found the lady at the gift shop a little rude when asking for help."

"Spacious, cozy suite with cute little balcony (standing room only) overlooking the vibrant streets below (Denman &Robson). Great location for food, bike rentals, and walking to Stanley Park & English Bay Beach. 100% we will be back!"
