"Hotel is in a great location. You can walk anywhere from here. It is next door to the Mysterious Mansion on River Road. The hotel is dated and carpets need replaced. Smell of mildew permeates the rooms. Bed was comfortable but pillows were worn out. Rugs in elevators beyond nasty. Breakfast included hot and cold. Same thing every day. Eggs appear to be powdered eggs. Everyone was very nice. There is a $16 a day parking fee we were not aware of. Parking is in a deck with overhead clearance only 6 feet in some places. Don’t go if you have an oversized vehicle. Parking lot for $20 a day across the street and free parking on street in front. Some rooms face creek side and bears were seen daily. Walls are thin. Noise is abundant in hotel and on street as it is on busy thoroughfare. Bells will wake you early every morning. Smoking isn’t permitted but always someone on balconies smoking. Have a pool and 2 hot tubs inside. Chemical smell is so strong you can’t stay in there. Have an outdoor pool and firepit. Years ago this place was awesome but has fallen victim to time. I would stay again as it is so convenient but there are other places just as good or better. Everyone was very nice. We never used housekeeping the 4 days we were there. Stopper was broke in shower and it wouldn’t drain. Feet got dirty walking on carpet. Typical hotel stuff. Sad to see how run down it has become. Have been coming here for years. Needs a major overhaul but location is very convenient and price was ok."

"Hotel was very nice but whoever the cleaning staff was, & person who called our room was not. We overstayed our time by 30-40min. Because we thought check out was noon & I wasn't feeling so great & they didn't care & gave us 5min. To leave or they were going to charge us for another night."

"The location and the amenities. It was very clean and good friendly service from everyone. The check in time was not on time but the facility made up for it and upgraded us. Food was good. Trolley service was very convenient and I would stay here again."

"Very nice scenery and ambient lighting around the property at night. We got the one bedroom with the fireplace in the Jacuzzi! It was absolutely beautiful. The Jacuzzi was deep and had plenty of room for two when I got in there by myself I felt like I was just swimming and floating around because it was big which I love it makes my trip so much more fun. The balcony was nice. We had a view of the waterfall, the room was clean. The AC worked great!"
