"Overall great stay"

"Everything was great and we love staying here! Only thing that we were disappointed with was that the parrots, Holly and Rita, were no longer there which we always loved to see. But we love the location and everything about the resort and this will be where we always stay. "

"Hus-Bae and I needed a quick and nice woosahhh getaway and boy am I so glad I came across the Compass Hotel. The hotel itself was so fresh and clean smelling and we always saw someone either cleaning or attending to the upkeep. The included daily breakfast was good and had nice options. No waffle maker (I love waffles) but the pancakes were good. Our room was so clean. It's always great to not find hairs and dirt left behind, especially in the bathroom. The location is PERFECT, especially being near the Island. We are looking forward to coming back in the very near future with our grandkids in tow and we can't wait!!"

"Everything about this hotel is awesome the food at the Vista Grill was a 10/10, the coffee bar was awesome, and the views from our balcony were phenomenal!!"

"They have a list of daily activities for the kids. We had the 2 bedroom deluxe condo, and it was perfect for our family. "

"got a cheaper room, 2 queen beds. Beds were extra soft, good for some people bad for others. They had a sliding barn door on for the bathroom door that couldn't lock, i didn't care for that. The elevators need to def get updated, you can wait 5 to 10 min to get one and the lights on the buttons are broke and the arrows a don't light up so you don't know if the elevator is coming or not. I thought the breakfast was going to be some big grand deal but its just a normal small 8 item buffet deal, still really nice for a hotel breakfast for sure, but being the popular place it is , it was packed and there is sometimes a line just to get a drink lol. over all its a good place to stay but nothing stands out as being better then any other. I didn't use the pool so I cant comment on that."

"The room was clean, the common areas were clean. MOST of the staff was helpful. However, we had a poor experience with maintenance. Our AC broken and he looked at it twice, still broken and he seemed upset that he had to replace it. I had to go to the front desk multiple times to get it fixed. The indoor pool was a bad experience. The water was dirty. There were a lot of obnoxious and rude guests (at least 30). In addition, there were some very inappropriate bathing suits. I think that the people that were a problem weren't overnight guests at the property. I never saw any of them around other areas of the property. The lifeguards were pleasant and respectful. However, the obnoxious guests often ignored lifeguards. We may never go to another water park. We went to dinner at one of the restaurants. We had 2 kids meals, a side salad, appetizer and 1 drink. It was $60 before tip."
