super clean with a lot of fresh air.

Probably the best stay in Israel! It is not a hotel but a private house. The host is a perfect communicator, and charming. The property is super clean, with a lot of fresh air. It was a very nice but short stay on our travel to Beersheba. It is relatively close to the airport.

A perfect getaway!

I needed a place to stay before going to an archeological dig, and the location was perfect just south of Ben Gurion. The couple that owns the house did a superb job to take care of me. The wife had even put forth Swedish napkins to make me feel like at home! The place was easy to find and plenty of parking on the street. I arrived quite late in the evening, but they invited me for coffee and snacks with their friends. The garden is beautiful and many different tables where you just can sitt down and read a book. I can warmly recommend this place - much better then a hotel!

Excellent family style rest-stop.

We feel very lucky to have found Barud Gadera. The place is a converted family home and the apartment is the back section of the house. It is amazingly convenient, with lots of thoughtful amenities -- very much in the family vibe as opposed to a hotel feel. The hosts are simply lovely and we talked for a while about the lovely garden and growing the plants. The whole atmosphere is very calming and at the same time very family friendly. There were two tvs so we could watch the World Cup while our kids watched National Geographic. We highly recommend this place. (The beds are good for Israel. Americans might be used to more comfortable beds, but they were just fine. And the area is nothing particularly special, we were just passing through and were very happy to find Barud Gadera)
