Wonderful pool that sists mostly in the shade. Looking forward to see the transformation after the refurbishments coming in the coming years. In the mean time it’s a cozy, elegant old school hotel with great service and delicious breakfast.

Location is great view from room sensational. Breakfast reasonable quality cost was ok. Bathroom tiles had mould and toilet did not flush properly. Shower was in need of replacement not better than leaking hose tied to pole. House keeping forgot towels had to contact staff 3 times to get towels at 9:30 pm

Staff fantastic, hotel quite dated, but excellent breakfast. No mention of the rooftop bar being closed for renovation! We were looking forward to that. Our room was not clean - dust on a lot of surfaces and the fridge-freezer desperately needed de-icing. We had to keep asking for things like soap, towels, and toilet paper as there wasn't enough. The soaps were tiny so we ended up buying our own. There is a school right across from the hotel so we were woken up by the outdoor assembly (with microphone) at 7.30am and once or twice a bagpipe rehearsal at 7.45am. Not even kidding. The breakfast was excellent. A huge buffet with all kinds of food; hot dishes, cold dishes, veggie dishes, eggs cooked at the egg station for you, fruit, cereal, desserts, you name it. Plenty of seating, too. The staff were incredibly kind and friendly, and we really felt taken care of in that respect.

The Bayview is a good hotel, well located with decent dining options and friendly staff. The rooms are big and have everything you would need inside them. The hotel is just a little dated however and needs a bit of TLC. Overall would happily stay here again.

Overall this was a big surprise, as I had read mixed reviews that were posted, yes it is an older hotel but it has great charm and larger rooms only minutes from the centre of George Town, and the best thing of all the staff were amazing , and the food was excellent

The room was cleaned daily, beds well made but only bath towels were given and had to asked for hand towels daily, would be nice that hand towels were given daily. TV programs isn't that superb and the picture resolution was grainy and unclear. Would I want to come back to stay again...maybe, unless the rectifications were done.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel room had a great view of the bay. The bed was quite hard but the shower warmed up quickly and was easy to use. The walls were quite thin, we could hear the people's conversation next door to us. But the hotel room was nice and spacious which was good.
