Sea view roomの眺めは絶品です。しかし、朝食は、このレベルのホテルとしては及第点以下で、粉っぽい硬いパン、水で薄めまくった味のないジュース、コーヒーも麦茶の様で、このホテルの運営は、宿泊者に楽しんでもらうという良心が欠けていると感じざるを得ませんでした。3階のイタリアンレストランは、作り手の良心が感じられる、美味しい料理と、サービスを提供してくれました。

As a former resort manager now retired who travels internationally 9+ months out of the year and lives out of hotels, I know what makes a stay memorable. This was my first stay at this hotel and without a doubt I give it a 10 out of 10, two thumbs up- impressed by the facilities but wowed by your staff. Many individual employees were exceptional but as I enjoyed the breakfast buffet every morning for 6 days in a row I would personally like to thank head chef Chung who was professional to the max and personable with the guests in such a warm and welcoming manner he is a100% asset to the hotel, coffee maestro Sheldon who remembered guests names and orders daily and welcomed everyone with a genuine, enthusiastic smile and was the perfect face of the Marriot brand, and wait staff Wayhu and Asma who I myself would have employed- making guests feel welcome and very quickly like family- important and meaningful for someone like me who is always on the road. To say I was sad to leave is to say the least, to say I will return in the future?- no doubt in my mind.

Overall a great choice for us: good location on the waterfront with a large park right across the street, many good food options and shopping malls within waking distance, easy and cheap Grab rides to area attractions, friendly and helpful staff, decent breakfast buffet, room service food that exceeded our expectations, nice outdoor swimming pool and sitting area with a view.

We had booked 2 rooms for our family of 6. Amir at the front desk was amazing in keeping up with our request as we had requested for the rooms to be next door to eachother or connecting rooms. He was very polite and helpful. Mizan also the manager at the front desk was also very polite and helpful, if we had and questions or requests they were met very promptly, always greeeted us with a smile and politeness. Hotel was very clean and tidy. The breakfast was a beautiful spread of local dishes, fresh fruits, yogurts, tea, coffee, pastries, cakes and much much more. You can request the chefs to make you a omelette of your choice along with any other dish you wish to put together within reason as they had all fresh ingredients available. The rooms were cleaned regularly mornings and also by the evenings we would also have another round of cleaners come by to check on water bottles which were supplied to the room or just give the rooms a quick tidy. The mini bar was all complimentary which was a bonus as there is a pool, Gym and kids club which again was free of charge aswell as the wifi and they also had a choice of connecting your devices to the tv along with either watching Youtube or Netflix. The 3 kids club staff were absolutely amazing. My little 6 year old loved going to the kids club nearly everyday, as they had alot of different activities for children to do like puzzles, reading, colouring, drawing, origami which the staff sit down with you and do together.

Situated on Gurney Drive with view of the ocean and where dining and shopping options are plentiful. Hotel offers free shuttle to shopping mall. No beach so ocean swimming is not an option. The hotel does have an infinity pool. Sago, the hotel restaurant, serves a variety of food including Australian/English, Malay, Chinese, Indian with limited Japanese selections in a buffet style. Did not try the other restaurants on site. Room is very comfortable and amenities are on par with the luxurious Marriott standard. Hotel staff very friendly and available to help with transportation and other information. English is widely spoken by all the staff. Would definitely return for another stay.

Excellent new hotel. Probably one of the best in Penang and up there with the E&O and Rasa Sayang.
