“Lovely room and veranda. Lovely staff . Easy parking. Very clean and very quiet area.”

“The initial arrival when we parked in the public parking raised some concerns, however the lovely hotel security lady quickly intervened and directed us to the proper hotel parking, from that point it was fantastic! The room was spotless, big and well appointed. But THE VIEWS!… WOW!!! The hotel certainly lives up to the name! The staff were all brilliant from the moment we arrived to the point we had to sadly check out. We will be back again!!”

“What a wonderful experience. Accommodation was exceptional. Restaurant was better than some Michelin Starred places we have visited. Food was out of this world. Service from Chantelle ( may be slightly different name, but young lady with red hair) was top class. Even the owner, lent us beach equipment. Rudolf was a brilliant host as was his lovely wife. What a gem of a place. Thanks also to Ben.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Sea Paradise. The location right on the beach was perfect and we loved being so close to the ocean. A lovely bonus was the food voucher, which we would definitely recommend using as the restaurant was excellent. It was also easy to walk to the spa for some relaxation. We were able to pop into the nearby Spar to pick up a bottle of cap classique and enjoyed it on the balcony, which was such a special way to end the day. A fantastic place to stay.”

“Beautifull farm with fantastic views, mountains and sea, sunsets and sunrises. Interesting guests and nice vibe. Lovely outdoor deck where guests can relax and enjoy the views. Room comfortable and nice hot shower, clean. Blinds cannot be openen properly, broken ties. Communal kitchen and lounge area available for guests. Unfortunately, untidy, not clean, utensils, crockery and appliances tacky, some broken and not clean. Poor housekeeping and maintenance of all areas. Outdoor areas not well...

“Well situated on high hilltop great view of lake . Property has gated entrance . Seems like a safe environment. No air con it was quite hot when we were there those accustomed to air con would not be comfortable . those that do not need tempature control would find it a safe clean well situated venue”

“We had 2 nights at oakhurst and really relaxed. The staff were so helpful and could not have done more to ensure we had a good stay. We enjoyed running in the woods, swimming in the dam and chilling in the hot tub.”

“This place overlooks a cliff looking out to sea. We saw literally 100’s of dolphins feeding up and down the coast. The location is close to town, the Ebb & Flow reserve, for the waterfall hike, and a short drive from the “Map of Africa” viewpoint. The breakfast was amazing. The only issue was the heater did not work in the room. We used extra blankets since it was getting cold as we visited in late fall. Overall a great stay”

“The Gull Cottage where we stayed was absolutely excellent! Ruth who owns and runs the cottage was super, welcoming us to the cottage and explaining the facilities. The cottage is very well equipped, super clean, very comfortable, and in a great location just moments from the beach. We hope to return as soon as possible!”

“This unique spot was a perfect place for peace and quiet. We had the Greenbeard unit, named after trailing lichens! It’s a combined cabin/tent. The kitchen was very well equipped. The bed was huge and very comfortable. We had a lot of rain but enjoyed sitting on one of the two decks on a sunny morning. ”
