Loved everything about this hotel and this stay. Great design. Great staff. Good breakfast. Watching a solar eclipse from the roof top bar was very special. Would definitely stay again.
We absolutely loved our stay here. We had an Ultra room, which was great for our family of four. The beds were super comfortable and the Aircon was great - we were there during a heatwave, but but the room temp was perfect and we slept great. The rooftop pool and the views over the city were amazing. Breakfast was delicious. Overall, it's a really cool space and we'd definitely recommend it as a base for exploring Ghent and beyond.
Extremely welcoming and helpful staff. Stayed with two children and no problems, all welcomed and enjoyed stay. Historic building, oozed character everwhere. Restaurant on site - didn't eat there but it smelt amazing. Breakfast offered too. There was a relaxing bar on the roof (inside and outside areas). Also a small pool on roof too, with towels could borrow for pool use.
Room was fabulous - very spacious, comfy bed, shower was fabulous.
We liked the information about Ghent and places to see as well as the hotel and decor materials that was accessible through the TV.
We really enjoyed our stay and thoroughly recommend this hotel.
This hotel is absolutely fabulous. I stayed here on a recent business trip and was genuinely impressed from start to finish. The décor is superb — stylish and perfectly in line with my taste — and the Asian-inspired restaurant is fantastic. The food and overall experience really stood out. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone.

Disliked: Cleanliness
Cool hotel, about 25 mins walk from Central Ghent. The pool was warm and well received and beds were comfy. Parking nearby was reasonable. Unfortunately our shower was blocked, and our room flooded, so we had to move to a slightly smaller room.

Super-cool design hotel with friendly staff, great breakfast, fabulous restaurant and a (tiny) rooftop lap pool.
Loved it. Highly recommend. Clean room, friendly staff, nice decor. Actually the only downside is that the bunk bed didn’t feel particularly safe to us so we did not allow our child to sleep on the top bunk however we managed to make do by having both children in the bottom bed. Regardless, it was a great location and very stylish hotel. Would stay again and recommend to anyone.
We stayed here with our two children and we cannot say enough positive things about the staff. We ended up having to stay an extra night when one of our kids got sick and they were so wonderful and flexible as our plans shifted and evolved.
The hotel itself was clean, had a unique style, and met our needs. We also took advantage of the laundry service while we were there, which worked out very well. For the price and the location, we’d certainly recommend it.
Fantastic, artistically designed and spacious room and wonderful amenities including glorious roof terrace with a cute little pool. Lovely sunset views over the city. We weren't convinced the bottom bunk had had it's sheets changed as there were a couple of hairs on it but by and large it was a super hotel in a really beautiful building. It is around 20 mins walk to the centre but a nice safe walk.
Great service ! Very unique stay in a very comfortable room and cozy bed . Love the modern style and use of common materials to complete the unique stay . Will consider a stay again soon close to all the city of Ghent offers , restaurants, museums and history of this beautiful city .
Thanks for the stay
Really great value for money, big rooms and comfy beds. TV didn't work in our room but we had our iPad with us. Lovely and helpful staff - we will stay at a Jam hotel in future!
Very original and quirky hotel, spotlessly clean, rooftop bar is really nice, unfortunately we couldn't get anywhere near the pool as far to busy but it looked nice.
Only downside was air conditioning in the room was very poor and visited in middle of a heatwave making for an uncomfortable night.
But would definitely recommend Jam to anybody going to Ghent.
We loved this hotel. It's incredibly well designed and there's eye catching details where ever you look. You realise that the designers have created a well thought out, design led but practical hotel.
We stayed in a room for five (2 adults, 3 children) and it was perfect for our needs. Breakfast was great (in the Tank Room) and what was even better was it was a relaxed affair, quiet, but all the children gravitated towards the little area by the fireplace where there were children's toys and puzzles - and all played together.
The rooftop pool was an absolute bonus and relief from the blistering heat we experienced!
Although it was about fifteen minutes or so walk into Ghent, it wasn't a problem and easy to do.
We enjoyed our stay - we will be back!

Room was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Beds were very firm and no control of the Aircon which was quite cold overnight.
Interesting, imaginative conversion and very successful space. Really friendly staff and nice rooms.
Be aware, and I didnt see it on site, that restaurant and bar does not open on Sundays or Mondays. Staff went out of their way to recommend alternatives, some in locality which were good but pretty busy.

Cool, artistic and fun designed hotel. We really loved our room with a queen size bed and a bunk bed. And it’s easy and feels safe to park the car on the street outside. Sadly for us they changed the breakfast times for Saturdays without information. From 7 am to 8 am. For us this made a big difference, because we knew beforehand that we had to leave 7.30 am for the ferry to England and we missed out of the breaks booked according to the information online.
