We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Ghent and at the Rose B and B. The breakfast was great and the rooms were clean. Rose was so helpful with directions. It is outside of Ghent so travel time to the city center is at least 30 minutes with some walking involved.

Outstanding place to stay. It is a beautiful house with the local Belgium style I loved. The staff was wonderful, helpful, friendly and comprehensive. I will definitely come back in the future and fully recommend it.

I was hoping to have access to kitchen supplies, like forks and plates. Also it’s a bit unfair to place bottles of wine and beer in the fridge, but not mark it’s price, pretending it’s free to make money of guests is not ok.

DO NOT STAY HERE - COMPLETELY FALSE ADVERTISING! The "Deluxe" Double Room does not have its own bathroom - this fact is not shown in the headline and is buried in the listing. I arrived at 9 pm to a dark house and was shown a room without a bathroom. I asked where it was and was told it was in the hall and was shared with another room. I was shocked but the woman showing me the room told me that the other room was not taken. I figured it was not that bad and acquiesced. However, at one in the morning I was woken up by noise in the hallway and some guy coughing and doors opening and closing. I looked and saw a light from under the bathroom door and the door to the other room was open. I could not believe that they had lied to me. Worse the guy was coughing a very phlegmy cough constant which kept me from sleeping, not to mention the fact that I was afraid that I was going to run into him while going to the bathroom. I managed to sleep for a few hours but was up by 4 am and just decided not to fight it and left on my drive to Berlin. This was a really intolerable situation. It was completely hidden that I would have to share a bathroom with complete stranger. Imagine if I was a single woman traveling. I'm an Expedia gold member and honestly Expedia should kick this property off of its platform for failure to properly describe the room. The fact that a room does not have a private bathroom should be in the headline. I plan on asking for a refund.

Ein tolles kleines B&B mit viel Charme. Wenn man das Haus betritt fühlt man sich ein wenig ins 18. Jahrhundert zurückversetzt. Es ist mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, mit einer sehr liebevollen Gastgeberin. Das Frühstück hat alles was man braucht. Für uns etwas ungewohnt, dass das Badezimmer nicht im Zimmer ist und man die Toilette mit anderen teilen muss, aber man hat keine weiten Wege und alles ist perfekt sauber.

Hyggeligt gammelt hus med masser af charme. Nye badeværelser, der blen gjort rent hver dag. Rose er noget af det sødeste og lavede os noget fantastisk morgenmad. Kan absolut anbefales. Ps det var nemt at komme i centrum med sporvogn 1.

Schone kamer, schone badkamer en wc. Minpunt vonden wij alleen dat het gedeelde badkamer en wc waren, vond dat persoonlijk niet duidelijk aangegeven staan dat zou nog een verbeter puntje zijn. Verder is de b&b erg mooi karakteristiek. Wel zou ik persoonlijk een renovatie aanraden. De wc en buitenkant van de b&b mogen wat liefde hebben. De gastvrouw is een vriendelijke vrouw, en zorgt ervoor dat je een fijn verblijf hebt.

schöne Unterkunft in guter Wohngegend

Wir waren auf einem Kurztrip in Gent. Uns hat neben dem wirklich beeindruckendem Haus auch gut gefallen, dass wir unser Auto und unsere Räder dort sicher abstellen konnten.

La salle de douche et le WC sont communs pour toutes les chambres. Les déjeuners sont payants, la piscine est hors service et le bruit de l'autoroute est problématique pour le sommeil. Prix demandé exorbitant pour la qualité. En positif, belle restauration de la demeure qui garde le style premier dans un quartier résidentiel, établissement très propre et déjeuners copieux et variés.

Goede ligging, maar betalend ontbijt

Mooie b&b aan de rand van Gent, vlak bij snelweg en expo. Kamer was schoon en goed formaat. Wel gedeelde badkamer, hoewel dit bij de boeking voor ons niet duidelijk was. De badkamer en toilet waren wel heel schoon, ik vermoed dat er ook geen andere gasten aanwezig waren. Ontbijt was betalend, een beetje verassend voor een b&b. Daar hebben we dan ook geen gebruik van gemaakt. Er is een bakkerij/tearoom op wandelafstand. Ook handig openbaar vervoer naar Gent centrum op ongeveer 700m afatand. Algemeen ok, maar voor de prijs en het feit dat ze zich adverteren als B&B had het ontbijt erbij mogen zijn, zelfs tijdens de Gentse Feesten

Eerste keer B&B. Altijd een beetje gemeden. Maar de eigenaresse van de rosehouse is een hele lieve host. Ik zal haar en hey huis zeker in gedachte houden voor een volgende tussenstop of een dagje Gent.
