"Stanford Myeongdong was a decent hotel. We stayed in a two single bed room with a great view of the city. Breakfast was okay, nothing stood out, but good to have as many places don’t open till later in the day. The bathroom was the main issue as it wasn’t very powerful, but our shower kept leaking. It was one of those removable ones but wouldn’t stay in place when having the shower on full blast, making it spray outside of the tub and onto the bathroom floor. Overall decent stay; good location, comfortable enough."

"We booked this room for four adults, but the layout offered very little privacy. The second “bedroom” had no door and could only be accessed by climbing over the other person. The bathroom setup was also uncomfortable, with only a frosted door and clear glass offering minimal privacy for the toilet and shower area. Only three clothes hamgers were provided for four guests, the kitchen had no utensils, and the beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable. The primary bedroom also only had a glass door facing into the living area. We also included the breakfast buffet to our stay and the selections was minimal with only a couple items traded out on a day to day basis. The gym was crowded and cramped therefore very hard to get around not a machine or the use of weights. Overall, the layout was poorly designed, lacked basic conveniences, and the hotel location was far too remote."

"Got a « deluxe family room » for 3 but it was basically a standard room with a twin “squeezed” in. Tight squeeze. Staff very nice and helpful however. Right downtown so that’s good also. Corridors and rooms started to look their age. Corridor rugs look to be coming loose with lots of “waves”. However overall a decent experience."

"The hotel is very conveniently located near Namdaemun market, subway station. It’s far away enough to be more quiet and less crowded, making if more pleasant to wake up to or come back to after a long day out. "

"The service by the hotel staff was top-notch, and would respond kindly no matter what question I asked. The room was clean and quiet. The shower water pressure was very strong as well. I would describe this hotel as a perfect place to stay if you were to travel to seoul."

"I loved all their clientele it was amazing, food was great facilities were very well maintained however rooms were very tight with my large size luggage and lobby located on 11th floor had plenty space to sit but no spot to sit by front on grand floor while waiting for taxi Uh there was no thermostat to rise up temperature. I was able to access to use cooling only, I found it was cold during night time as temperature drops Otherwise I had great experience at the Gracery hotel"
