"Super location to walk to many cultural and historical sites. Easy airport bus (6011)! The stop is just an 3 min walk away. Easy subway connection to other parts of the city. Easy to find restaurants and shop in Insadong. Very clean. Great breakfast buffet. Would recommend to couples of all ages, families and singles."

"Our double room was great. It also had integrated fridge freezer, oven and cooker. The bathroom was very modern. "We had a wonderful stay at Lotte Hotel Seoul. The location is outstanding, right in the heart of Myeongdong and within easy walking distance of attractions such as Myeongdong Cathedral, Deoksugung Palace, and Cheonggyecheon. The hotel’s proximity to shopping, restaurants, and sightseeing made exploring Seoul incredibly convenient. A special thank you to the concierge team, who helped arrange a facial and head spa experience that I thoroughly enjoyed. We also appreciated the variety of excellent dining options within the hotel and found ourselves eating there frequently for both convenience and quality. The service throughout our stay was exceptional. The staff were professional, helpful, and attentive, making us feel welcome from start to finish. While the hotel is centrally located, neighborhoods such as Gangnam and Itaewon are also just a short taxi ride away. Overall, an excellent hotel in a prime location. We would gladly stay here again on our next visit to Seoul. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"

"This hotel is in an excellent location, with all three palaces within easy reach, along with numerous local restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Getting around Seoul by taxi was also very convenient. Every staff member, including the housekeeping team, was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Seoul!"

"This was my first time booking accommodation in Seoul, as I usually stay at my family’s house. I didn’t know what to expect before checking into this property, but the experience was disappointing. On the 4th floor, there were 42 extremely small rooms, closets would be a more accurate description. Each measured about 2m x 3m, with no windows, and included a tiny shower. If you suffer from claustrophobia, this setup would be unbearable. The kitchen offered food throughout the day: eggs, bread, cheese, bologna, butter, jam, juice, Coke, 7-Up, Chapagetti, and Samyang ramen. There were some old apples, but once they were gone, the staff said they wouldn’t be restocked from the farm. The biggest issue was the management. At check-in, the manager was overly casual and failed to explain the amenities or house rules clearly. For example, when we washed dishes and left them on the drying rack, he told us we should have put them away. He insisted he had explained this rule, but he hadn’t. His micromanaging style made us feel uncomfortable. We had booked and paid for three nights, but after the first day we decided to move to another hotel as soon as our schedule allowed."
