“Nice, quiet spot to stay while in the Normandy area. We saw the same lady working every day- breakfast, lunch, dinner, check in and check out...she needs an increase in pay! The only drawback was, it said the restaurant/bar was open every day until 10pm on their sign, but we arrived just before 9pm and they were closed. They told us we should have called, which we would have, if we had only known . It's about 10 minutes away from a town center with several places to eat. Very cute spot!...

“We had a fantastic stay. Room was spacious and comfy. Constructive critisim would be when cleaning don't forget the shower seals as this was quite grimey. An under counter fridge would have been a fantastic touch as we went to the shop each night to buy tea due to food intolerance. I did report the bathroom door also as being difficult to open and close. I did get stuck in there one evening so luckily husband was there to let me out lol. ”

“Very decent hotel, particularly good for overnight stays for the ferry. The reception we received was excellent, the room was spacious, the bed comfortable and everything was very clean. The communication from the hotel was great and they were very accommodating when we asked for a room on a lower floor. The parking is a bit tight so would recommend booking in advance. Perfect hotel for us.”

“Accès 24/24h avec boîte à clé codée. Petite difficulté à trouver les chambres parmis les deux bâtiments, avec étages et accès de chaque côté des bâtiments. Mais on a trouvé ! “We liked the Holiday Inn Express Caen/Epron. It was new, very clean and the staff was exceptionally helpful. The only drawback is there isn’t anything within walking distance. It’s kind of in a business area so you can’t walk to a cafe or even a grocery store. We had a car and were comfortable driving everywhere so it wasn’t a problem but it could be if you’re expecting it to be in an area that is walkable. ”

“Friendly staff, free parking, very comfortable room, we booked two rooms and we were given interlinking rooms without having to ask which was very thoughtful and appreciated. We had a notification the day before we arrived to say there would be no restaurant in the evening while we we're there. We ate lunch several times during our stay and along with breakfast the food was excellent. Side note: Hotel had been taken over by US veterans and their support for D-Day, the veterans were inspiring...
