“Really liked our stay, cosy and great atmosphere in pub dining area, in the rooms not all windows could be opened, frames were tatty and needing attention as with paint work on inner doors, however would still stay again, also handy for Bristol airport”

“ access to top floor was not suitable for oap, too many stairs with no help from staff with luggage. Dining area/ bar closes very early and with erratic times. Room was very good, clean and well aired. Shower was a bit weak but hot. Food was acceptable”

“Could do with grab rail by the bath and a mat for the bath as slippery when wet. Staircase handrails very sticky and need a good clean.”

“The property has the basic amenities, we only needed a bed and a shower. The bed was comfortable, the power shower hot. Just what we needed.”

“Crossways is a gem of a hotel with wonderful views of Glastonbury Tor and the surrounding countryside. The beds are comfortable and Internet access is very good. Everywhere is very clean and the staff are generally very good. There was just one morning when the staff lost track of who still needed to order their breakfasts. Talking of tracks the road to the hotel from Pilton is single track but it is worth the care needed to get there.”

“Nice dining area for breakfast and evening meals. Good variety of options for breakfast and a varied evening meal menu. Beds are nice and comfortable. Good tea and coffee facilities in room. If I had have known it was so pet friendly I may have brought my pet. Convenience store with ATM on other side of street for any other items. All of the staff we encountered were pleasant, courteous and helpful. I would stay again when I return to the area as I likely will.”
