Talbot Hotel Wexford

"Great place to stay if exploring Wexford town and county. It is about 25 minutes drive to Rosslare port and so a convenient stop if booked for an early sailing. Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Bar food is excellent and reasonably priced. Car parking is free for guests, beside the hotel and fairly secure for motorcycles. Would definitely stay again. Great value for money."

"We stayed one night before going to catch an early ferry from Rosslare . The room was very good value especially as use of the leisure centre is included - we were very happy with it as were the kids ( though they charge 3 euro for a compulsory swim hat!). The receptionist on night duty was really lovely and our check out experience was very sweet because of him. My only tiny gripe is that when we moved the bed slightly to retrieve a dropped phone there were the remains of someone else’s snacks under it, and also the room was set up for two people rather than the four that we’d booked for ( two mugs two glasses two sets of towels etc). We didn’t ask them to correct this- I’m sure they would have done. It definitely feels like a properly run hotel and we loved the lobby bars and Alamo restaurant and the chilled filtered water outlets on each floor. Would definitely stay again."

"I think I was given the room with the nicest view. It was probably the highlight of my trip coming back to my room and overlooking the sea. The refillable water bottle fountain was also a life saver"

"My second time staying in a week, a different part of the premises this time, upstairs on the street front. I was worried there might be more noise..no !! Staff friendly a good pint..plenty parking, I hope to return.."

"We had a midweek break with Riverbank House Hotel, we really enjoyed our stay, staff were absolutely fantastic, nothing was too much for them. The only point we would have to say is that the hotel could do with a revamp as it looks tired, would we come back most definitely yes."
