"Friendly staff, great hotel"

"The $30 per day for parking is very expensive when you consider how much it costs to stay in the hotel. The extras in the room are not replaced daily, shower cap, sanitary bag, vanity set. Was told at the grand bar we had a $50 credit for staying in the hotel only to find out this is only if you book direct with the hotel. Pool chairs broken and need cushions due to stretching make them quite uncomfortable."

"Amazed that this hotel has four stars as it was tired, dark and drab. The executive king room was depressing with cheap and old furnishings and bed linen / towels. Reception told us that all rooms were of the same standard (so there was no point in swapping rooms which had been offered). Breakfast was average. Although booked in for three nights we left after one night and found a better hotel, which wasn’t hard. The receptionist was adamant that, because we had pre paid through hotels.com, it was not possible to get any refund for the two nights and two breakfasts we had paid for. Overall a very disappointing experience."
