"It was a good stay "

"If I could leave zero stars, I would. My wife and I stayed here for four nights. On the first night, we found blood on our wall. We went to the front desk who offered to clean it, but we said that we would do it ourselves. On the second night, we found ants by the microwave and coffee machine, just a bunch of little baby ants, crawling all on the walls. At this point, we asked to switch rooms. They switched our room for the third night and that next morning my wife found a baby roach in the bathroom. At this point we were too fed up with everything to complain AGAIN. I have stayed at other Holiday Inn Express’ that were very nice and clean so I was very surprised at this. We did speak to the manager who gave us some IHG points for our troubles which we appreciate but overall our experience was not what we hoped for. The area/location is very nice though with lots of restaurants nearby, that was the best part of this stay."

"Golf Hall of Fame has moved. The property seems abandoned. The roof was leaking in the lobby. Room was in poor condition. Amenities were outdated and/or in poor condition. There is no way I would have paid $200+ per night if I had seen the place in person, prior to booking. Staff was nice."

"My husband and I are very disappointed with this hotel. Before I list the bad I will say that the room was surprisingly clean. The bathroom was clean, but needs an update. The Lakeview and pool very nice. Here we go; the elevators were dirty and the carpet on the 3rd floors was even worse. Stains throughout the entire hallway, the walls are dirty and the paint is coming off the doors. We were afraid to enter the room. After watching the TV for a couple hours, the remote will not change the channel. We went down for breakfast at 9:29am the staff said we had two minutes to get breakfast after the front desk told us that breakfast was not over until 10 AM. We paid 25 for this breakfast the only thing that was edible was a yogurt. The eggs were burnt, no cream cheese for the bagels and the French toast cold and tasted like styrofoam. I can go on but will stop. I normally do not write reviews, but I do not want anyone to have to experience what we did !!"
