"We had a great visit at this property. Nice and clean. VERY Comfy beds and nice duvets to keep you warm on the cold nights. Breakfast was excellent - Healthy options such as Muesli & other hearty cereals (kiddy options as well), Hard B. Eggs, cold cuts and cheese options (never had brown cheese before, but I am a fan), fresh whole grain bread from the local Bakery (Naustdal Dampbakeri) in town (seeded and unseeded), several types of Wasa Crisps, cured Salmon. This is SO much better than the cr@* that I receive in the USA. Only detractor is a slight mustiness in the lower floor, but that comes with the age of these northern climate establishments. Rooms were adequate for our two small carry-on's, if you bring more you will be hard-pressed to find a place to walk. I would not hesitate to return for another stay. "

Wonderful Updated historical Gloppen fishing hotel

"Really enjoyed the hotel. New section was modern and very comfortable. Bed and bedding was great. Very clean. Historical section in Including dining rooms was wonderful. Food was very good. Great breakfast. Enjoyed learning about history of hotel relative to salmon fishing. Wonderful fish dinner. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. A great find. "

"The property was clean and very comfortable, super cozy - it genuinely felt like home. The scenery was to die for and it was in close proximity to all the fun and adventurous activities. The host family was extremely nice and very helpful. There’s a nice restaurant about 5 minutes from the property, including a grocery store; there is also a cafe about 2 minutes away driving or less than 10 minutes walking distance."
