"Overall this was a great choice. I was visiting family nearby and didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel, so I gave a good rating for some of the categories as I didn't get to try them. The hotel was easy to find and located very near an outdoor shopping mall with good chain restaurant choices, a Walmart, TJ Maxx and other stores. Within walking distance of the hotel are a Wendy's and Chipotle. The area felt very safe.
Check-in was great, the lobby is very clean. The hotel staff were friendly. When we got to our room, there was a slight bleach smell and I would rather that than a moldy smell. The bathroom and room were clean and lots of towels. Beds were very comfortable. I didn't eat the breakfast, my son did and said it was great. I would definitely stay here again."
"It was very clean. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast in the morning was a very nice variety. I really like that for people who stay more than one day, they would switch up the eggs they served, along with changing up the meat...It made it nice not to serve the exact same thing every morning!!!... the inside pool was kept very clean.
I also loved that they have hot coffee way into the evening!!!
I would say book it, with absolutely no doubt!!!"
"I am so anxious to leave a review about this property! We stayed once before and enjoyed the stay but I remember thinking it would be even nicer if they were to remodel. Well, guess what? They did and our stay was awesome. I have Zero complaints or criticism. From the time we walked in and saw the newly remodeled suite it was love ❤ at first sight. Everything you would want in a hotel suite, they left nothing out. And we had a ground floor suite. The kitchen had all stainless appliances and a pantry! Bathrooms were great, especially the walk-in shower with wand attached. They even had a charging pad for my phone on either side of the bed. Will definitely be back, Lord willing."
"Beautiful old mansion restored into a hotel. It’s quirky in a good way. We loved the views from the room. It was raining a lot so we couldn’t enjoy the outdoor space as much as we liked. More effort could be put into the landscaping and a covered outdoor space would be a nice addition.
Our room was clean however sheets were polyester rather than quality fine grade cotton which was disappointing and didn’t make for a nice experience. Shower also needed an overhaul. Grout/ silicone needs to be replaced and throughly cleaned. Better fixtures were expected.
Our main complaint was the very strange dining menu, which is not available online. There is no ‘theme’ and nothing honestly sounded amazing enough to tempt us to eat there. Breakfast is also table service (included in the booking) but it’s only from 8am - 9:30am, making it impossible to get an early start. Coffee is only available from 7am onward as well.
Overall a strange experience- don’t think we would return unless some things changed."
