"The overall hotel is modern and comfortable, location is convenient to down town without being too noisy.
We had a disappointing start to our trip. The room we were given had stains on the carpet, a bathtub that was peeling and chipping, and a bathroom door that was so difficult to slide open my husband had to help me get in and out. We went back down to the front desk looking for a resolution, and explained that we had booked a room with a shower not tub, and explained the other issues. Brie on front desk said she could not help, hotel is over booked and we booked this room through a third party.
Went back upstairs, we felt deflated that this is were we would have to stay. I wanted to leave, my husband and i went back down and requested again is there a way to change tomorrow, the answer, no. Went a third time, spoke with different person Megan, who tried to offer hope and said she could move us the next day ,which they did, to the room i had originally booked, much better condition. The next day when we got back to our room at 5pm after asking for room cleaning that morning, it still had not been cleaned. We went down and spoke with manager Juan Martinez, he was excellent. Listened to all the issues we had since arrival, identified the problems, offered solutions and apologized. Finally felt seen and heard after a rough start.
The rest of our stay was comfortable and well run. Jon at Moonsong restaurant was friendly and helpful, Jamie at Urban Oak roof bar was excellent."
