"This is a lovely place, but I can't give it a great review because on the day we checked-in no one was available at the hotel to answer the phone. Answering the phone when you have guest traveling from out of country, and to a very remote location is standard basic custom service. For whatever reason we could not find our email confirmation the day we were scheduled to arrive and we called and called for 5 hours straight on a Saturday between 12noon-5pm and no one answered the phone. Maze Lodge

10/10 Excellent

"Definitivamente regresaremos !

Hotel Los Higuerones

8/10 Good

"The property was beautiful with landscaping, the pool was really nice and the restaurant was fantastic. The rooms are a bit small and for some reason I had a room with 3 twin beds in it and I was solo. All in all I give the room 2 stars and the rest of the property 4. The restaurant staff was helpful and nice."

Pavones Point

10/10 Excellent

"This was a terrific property. Luxury surf resort. Friendly helpful staff. Beautiful rooms. A very short walk across the street to the beach. Fully equipped room with Wi-Fi, kitchen, tvs, laundry room, etc. Great outdoor terrace with chairs and large dining table to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Our host Veronica helped us coordinate a very special clay/pottery making experience for our family. She also recommended a couple great local restaurants and markets. We would definitely book again if back in Pavones!"

Luna Lodge

10/10 Excellent

"Beautiful boutique lodge at remote rainforest location. Delicious food and very friendly staff. Location at a hill allowed for beautiful views and birdwatching, with a pair of Scarlet Macaws breeding in a tree right on the property. Access for the last 2 miles after the airstrip requires SUV, but lodge also offers convenient airport pickup from Puerto Jimenez."
