“Staff were excellent. The food was excellent. Everywhere was spotless. The 4 bedrooms are up 3 flights of stairs but the staff we extremely helpful. An enjoyable experience. The pub is quirky.”

“Our room in the coach house was compact but was very clean, had everything we needed and overall satisfactory. Our room faced the main road so lots of traffic noise. The shower room window had clear glass & faced the car park with only a blind for privacy. Last time we stayed we were in a larger quieter Lapwing room which for us was better. Breakfast was very good food & service. All staff attentive, willing & helpful. Would stay again but aim for Lapwing upgrade.”

“Super nice staff! We stayed there for two days and enjoyed a comfortable bed and a great vibe. It was my uncle's birthday, and they helped prepare a cake with a candle and sang the birthday song. Thanks to the chef and all the staff that night! The food was great as well.”
