The breakfast at The Botany is truly exceptional—easily better than most cafés and on par with, if not superior to, many comparable hotels I’ve stayed at. The quality, variety, and execution were outstanding, and it’s clear there’s an exemplary chef behind it. It honestly goes beyond words. Room service was reasonable. One small improvement would be the replenishment of basic amenities such as bottled water, body cream and toothpaste during housekeeping, without needing to request them. That said, the experience overall was still exceptional, largely because the breakfast alone set a remarkably high standard.

Excellent bed, clean room and great location away from the very busy streets of Ermou, yet just a 15min walk away from the busy centre. The staff were very polite and the breakfast was good too, particularly the egg menu.

I want to start by saying that my overall experience at this hotel was okay. The staff was great and very friendly. We were given Room 603, which was very modern, clean, and nice. The room was small, but that was not a problem for us since we were only staying for two nights. The location was also very convenient, as it was close to the places we were visiting in Athens. The main issue we experienced was that our room did not have any windows. The heater was on, and there was no proper ventilation, which made the room extremely hot. We were sweating a lot and felt very uncomfortable. We went to the front desk three times asking for help. One of the girls at the front desk was clearly frustrated but tried her best to assist us. Unfortunately, the issue could not be resolved right away. we even contacted Expedia, but they were waiting for the hotel manager to call us back, and no immediate solution was offered. Because of this, we decided to leave the hotel. However, just as we were ready to go, a staff member came to our room and explained to us that he needed permission from the manager who wasn't onsite to toggle the hvac controls to allow the room to receive AC,he manually adjusted the heater.we were able to get some sleep, although the temperature was still not completely comfortable. The second night was even hotter, but we managed to sleep despite the discomfort. Overall, the hotel was okay, but the lack of ventilation and the heating issue made our stay less enjoyable

It's a lovely hotel. The staff are great. We particularly enjoyed the bottle of wine and the great coffee that was provided in the room. The view from rooftop restaurant is stunning.
