“If you want a nice base top of lincoln minutes from castle and cathedral this is it ! We had a two bedroom cottage next door to pub quiet after 1030 ish , plenty of room and well equipped we ate a salad in and drank waiting for 6 pm concert start .staff next door lovely and excellent breakfast served till 11am . Uber up hill is highly recommended at 4 quid ,enjoy the walk down !”

“Bit of a regular here always normal business trip but ideal if your on a break local attractions Rutland water but Oakham is a nice un spoilt town. All self service but if you want a meal the hotel sits above a lovely restaurant and there are places in town to enjoy a coffee or full meal”

“Welcomed in nicely car parking very tight Food in restaurant outstanding - superb taste and good value Room excellent - better than last time I stayed -chose a better room ! On the negative then someone else parked selfishly in the carpark making it extremely precarious to get out - should have been stopped and was charged at dinner for something i didn't have - only noticed today ”
