“A wonderful stay, friendly staff, comfortable clean room with very large bed. Amazing breakfasts and evening food. Safe parking and lovely location. Only minor issue was it was advertised on Expedia as separate shower and bath when in fact it was shower over bath. Thank you for looking after us.”

“What an absolute gem of a place! There's nothing like a fantastic breakfast to start the day and oh boy did we get it here . Also I had the fish and chips one evening and it has to be said it ranks along side the best I have ever eaten....Attentive staff who clearly know what they are doing . We have never stayed in Wells before but we will definitely stay here again when we return.”

“We had a lovely stay. The facilities and staff are all brilliant. The pool and lake was a bit too cold for us in October but will be back in the summer. We had lots of little walks, family game time and enjoyed the boat in the lake. Our dog was in heaven swimming every day!”

“This hotel is in an excellent position to the town. The staff were efficient and friendly and the breakfast was the best we've had in a hotel for a long time. Unfortunately the hotel is is need of an update. We had the first room (51) on the ground floor. This backed onto a courtyard outside the kitchen. It was noisy and there was a "hume" from some kind of machinery that kept kicking in. The heating was not on in the evening, despite it being only 2 degrees outside. For the sake of...
