"If you’re contemplating the YVR Fairmont, try Hotel Versante instead. The rooms at Versante are just amazing, the staff are great, and it’s super close. The parking is secure and cheaper than YVR, the Cask Whiskey Bar and Bruno Restaurant are spot on, and did I say the staff are great? 🙌🔥 But shhhh, don’t tell anyone. "

"The hotel is conveniently located just one block from the SkyTrain station, offering easy access to transportation. The complimentary airport shuttle is a valuable amenity, and the guest rooms are spacious, well-maintained, and equipped with a large wall‑mounted television. Staff members were welcoming and courteous throughout my stay. The only drawback is that the parkade is not directly connected to the hotel, requiring guests to walk outside to access it."

"Neighbourhood is nice with quick access to Canada line, shopping and restaurants. Kids loved the pool. 6 degrees outside but the pool is heated and there is a hottub so they had a blast outdoor swimming in March, which was a nice surprise. "

"Have stayed at the Abercorn Inn in its various configurations numerous times over the years. It always meets our requirements as a basic one night layover, conveniently close to YVR. It is not a five star luxury resort, nor does it claim to be, but this is an older hotel, clean and comfortable with basic amenities. Staff are pleasant, rooms clean. The continental breakfast is decent. We feel safe here and will stay again in the future."
