"A historic hotel well kept and with a lot of charm in a nice little village. The room is small is not very big but with antique furniture, bathroom is renewed. Location in the best part of main street, with a great restaurant across."

"Our biggest disappointment was the swimming pool and the area around it. It was the main reason we booked Karoo Life Bed & Breakfast. We really wanted to be able to spend time around the pool

during the very hot days we were visiting. The pool was dirty and not cleaned once during our 3 night stay. The Kreepy Krauly pool cleanser hose was also left in the pool the entire time we were there which made it impossible to swim across the pool. It also wasn't working. The pool looks nothing...

and used their facilities which were lovely. The grounds are big and spacious and you can sometimes see animals from your windows But of course the best bit were the safaris, we loved the drives seeing all the animals in the reserve my mum also swapped one of the drives for a horse riding...

"Really pleasant stay and great staff. We were in a cave room, well stocked though a few more outlets would have been great. The larger swimming pool had too few lounge chairs and shaded areas, making it difficult to enjoy as other guests got there first! Be sure you have or rent an SUV or sturdy 4 wheel drive as access roads are unpaved for about 10-15km."

"What an amazing place this is. This was our third time staying here and, as usual, we loved everything about it. We even found fellow Christian’s on the staff there who made us feel like family. In our opinion this is the best place we have stayed anywhere in Africa. It just suited all our needs and gave us (a group of 3) time to unwind. Thank you everyone at WHK.
