“Great place friendly staff only downside was the outdated bathroom and an exceptionally small room television.”

“Great staff, great property, truly refreshing. The property is underrated, from the rooms with outside showers, amenities and the game roaming around the property and lastly the trail within the property offers a great opportunity to walk or run for relaxation and reflection, we were pleasantly surprised by all of this. The only bad thing we noticed was the odour in the room at times, it smelled like blocked drain or sewage.”

“The property is in a beautiful location with access to a beautiful beach. Gardens/pathways are well maintained. The spa is excellent. Small problem areas are - teapot in room still full of old tea/rust colored water in the kettle/wooden strip above the lounge curtain fell off/dinner was mediocre (risotto was terrible - stodgy lump)/back of house area behind our villa had garbage lying around. Devil is in the details. ”

“What an amazing place, Mpongo Premier Game Reserve is the best. The Manager Pieter made sure that our stay is pleasant. From Reception the welcoming was excellent. Johannes the Ranger gave us tutorials about the Game Reserve thank you very much. The food was wonderful Breakfast was exquisite ”

“The check in was disorganized and had to fill in endless forms. I use this hotel regulary. They need to review their breakfast priciing as it does not warrant what you are getting. Boring”

“OUTSTANDING, is the word to describe our experience. From the moment we arrived until we drove out of the gate we were treated extremely well. Upon arrival our room was upgraded to an ocean view. The room was very spacious and came with all of the usual amenities. Breakfast was fabulous and was cooked to order from three choices. Yogurt, toast, cereal, fresh fruit, muffins coffee and tea were also offered. The General Manager is a real hands on person and deserves recognition for making our stay...

“Vernon, the host was very friendly and helpful. Property accessible and close to shops. Property and surroundings were very quiet and peaceful despite being close to freeway. The casino close by was a nice touch for added entertainment. Will recommend and certainly stay here again.”

“The whole environment is clean and security is good but the room smells bad.had to deodorise before sleeping for my entire stay. Also,the bathroom shower curtain is horrible,it wraps your body when bathing and its very irritating...besides these two problems,i cant complain about the rest.”
